Lodge Leadership Seminars Conducted Around the State

On Wednesday, November 20th, Lodge Leadership Seminars were conducted in Elkhorn, Lincoln and Broken Bow. A fourth seminar that was to be held in Alliance had to be postponed due to weather. The seminars were conducted by Past Grand Masters Rick Myers (Elkhorn), Tom Hauder (Lincoln) and Joe McBride (Broken Bow). The Seminars were focused on giving newly elected officers and members the tools they will need to successfully lead their lodges. They addressed desired attributes of a lodge leader, what is leadership, motivation and involving new and longtime brothers, importance of long range planning, budgeting, conduct of meetings, plan for recruiting, fellowship, and communication. Approximately 50 members attended the Seminars.
